News I'm just not excited about the Galaxy S25 Ultra

I feel the same way. I always upgrade yearly as work pays for my device. But I'm disappointed in losing the spen Bluetooth features as I use it often. And no bigger battery is disappointing to me. Sigh. I really don't know if I should do it. I feel like I wouldn't gain much if anything at all.

I'm getting $900 for my 24 Ultra on trade-in value and free $150 Samsung earbuds that I can sell for $100 on eBay (plus a free Samsung case) so that's equal to $1,000+ trade-in value on my phone plus a $50 credit to purchase accessories and 1200 points to use on the Samsung site. This makes it a $300 purchase to upgrade. That will make sense to plenty of people! And this is not a landfill issue because many people are looking for used s24s and s23 Ultras so it's making them available for them at a reasonable price.

Its the current design that is turning me off greatly to phones. So many companies made really nice looking phones for years that were comfortable to use as well. Now all we have are phones with flat sides and sharp edges, they are very uncomfortable to hold and often actually painful in your hand. So much so that even using a case doesn't help.

Samsung, please bring back phones with rounded sides/edges.

Yes those straight sides are an issue. I'm going to use it for a week and if I can't adjust I will send it back to Samsung for a refund and keep my s24. 🙂

Definitely makes sense financially but I'm just not sure the device will be as great for me compared to the s24u. Happy for you though!

I'm sticking with my s23U. There is nothing much going on anywhere with the new machines.
Samsung really 'phoning' it in the past few years since they became so dominant. I like my S23U even though it wasn't a huge upgrade from my Note 20, but neither the S24U or S25U give me compelling reasons to switch.
After another Samsung let-down, just pulled the trigger for a OnePlus 13 from Best Buy, and excited to give it a spin.
Samsung, I'll be back when you actually innovate something new, not just warmed over hardware and BS Ai...
