i am 100% sure that i entered the correct pin but it would still say "incorrect password:. what do i do?

Welcome to Android Central! Is it a numeric PIN or an alphanumeric password? If the latter, make sure CAPS LOCK is not on.

If you fail the unlock enough times, does it ask you for your Google account information?
