I'm Looking For A Great (Exploitable) Tablet At Around $300?

Hey Everyone,

I'm looking to get a brand-new tablet at around $300. My plan is to root the hell out of it, load some custom roms, apps etc.

So far, I REALLY like the Viewsonic G-Tablet. It seems to be a great buy and loaded with features (support for USB and SD Card, etc.)...AND there seems to be a huge Hackdroid base for it.

Any other suggestions?

I have a G Tablet and other than the screen the hardware is nice. The stock software is pretty but there are a lot of custom ROMs available for it. A great deal if you want a ten inch tablet. Was considerimg the nook a few months ago but bought the G Tablet when woot had them as the product of the day.

If not already, the G Tablet is pretty much at the end of life with Viewsonic. It's still worth considering at the price since it has a dual core Tegra and a still-active development community.
