I'm looking for an extra charging cable or dock for the LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition LTE.

I have not seen anywhere selling this yet. Can I buy the charging dock for the 1st gen? The charging pin location seems to be the same.

If I'm not mistaken, the first gen dock is a circular dock. The 2nd Gen seems larger than 1st gen. So, I'm not sure that will fit.

I contacted LG and their 3rd party supplier(LG referred me to when they told me they didnt have the charger available) and the 3rd party supplier told me that they would submit a parts order ticket and contact me back whenever they get them in stock. Weird that LG has a factory full of the chargers but will not sell them separately. I asked what happens if my charger is damaged, am I to keep a useless watch? They told me that I could exchange the damaged charger for a new one by mailing in the damaged charger. This is really shaking my faith in LG. I remember going through the same issue trying to get an OEM battery for my G3. Any Samsung phone I owned, I could log on to Samsung USA and order whatever I needed.

Did the supplier ever contact you back, and could you post their info here?
Thanks!

You're trying to buy something for a device that doesn't exist anymore.

I did all this before any news of the recall. And it definitely exists, I get compliments on it everyday. Even got a notification on it from tapatalk that you responded to this post. Lol.

Of course they never contacted me back. I dont remember the name or number of the parts supplier, but the rep gave it right to me when I called. Heres a copy of the email they sent me...

Please let us know if they have any available. I'd like to pick up a spare just in case and/or for traveling.

I calld LG, and pressed whatever number for the parts department, which is a different company, whose phone system looped me right back to customer service. The guy I talked to was so darn clueless, it was a total waste of time. At the end of the day, he said that part is "not yet" available (the "yet" means absolutely nothing as he just assumed if it wasn't there yet it would be).

I lucked out and someone here kept the charger and sim card removal tool before returning the watch to ATT, so he sold it to me. I imagine wothout that tool, there is likely no way to open the back to swap sim cards, so if you lose it, you're in trouble.

I wish everyone had held on to their chargers and tools before returning the watch. I know I will if something happens and I have to return mine.

I was trying to get the LG guy to connect me to someone who could sell me one of the returned chargers, but he was absolutely no help in that, and really not authorized to do anything besides answering the phone, said there was no escalations department I could call and no way to rout my request to someone who had a bit more authority to help a customer in need.

I believe that this is just indicative of LG's poor customer service. I went through the same fiasco with my G3. No matter how hard I tried or how many times i called i could not get a spare OEM battery from LG. They were never "in stock yet" for some reason. I ended up buying a generic from Amazon. Similar situation with the OG G Watch. I just wish companies like Samsung and Motorola made devices i like as much as LG, because i really don't like their post sale support.

Oh, Samsung suck in some ways as well. Their Gear S chargers are so badly designed that they all break within months, yet Samusung ingnores the issue completely, even when addressed directly via social media. I loved many things about my Gear S, but the way they handled this screw-up made me really dislike Samsung as a company.

I have lost my charger over the holiday in a hotel :(
If anyone knows where to get another please let me know.
Also if anyone have the pin assignment, I may be able to get one made.
the regular urbane dock as i have read does not fit urbane 2 lte right?

Pin assignment may be your best bet(and only option). As I posted in another thread LG says your screwed if you lose your charger. Might be time to think about returning your watch(sad to say)

The regular urbane charger may work if you shave off its bezel. The bezel would prevent the urbane LTE to lie flat on it. May be worth a try?

Hi there,
Just wanted to share a little trick I learned recently regarding getting the back off without the official lg tool.
The back can easily be removed with by using a squash ball, just push it tightly against the back and twist , it works easily as as its a rubber ball, will not damage the back in any way,
Hope that might help some people.

In that case, a silicone coaster may work as well. Good to know!!!
