Are you confused about what to do after or rooting itself?

If its root then just try to get comfortable with adb. Knowing it can become very useful.

If after rooting then it is just about endless. Custom roms, kernels, recovery, and so on. Just gives you more control to change things to your liking. Just because you can also means you don't have to.
