First,
I get rid of unlimited data since it's saving me 50.00 a month.
Second,
I am in the middle of purchasing a 64gb turbo
Third,
Selling my note 2.

Am I nuts lol.

I paid full retail for the turbo to save my unlimited. I stream all my music so I average over 10 gigs a month. No way I'm giving it up.

Save 50 per month. Yeppers. And now am on 15 gig data plan w wife.
I didn't pay full retail. But didn't get contract price either.
Now I pay 116 plus tax a month including full insurance on my device. Before I was at 1400 minutes unlimited data for 180

@golfer I just started playing again this year. Picked up tm speedblades. Love em.

Didn't want to but have to cut back certain things. Kids school tuition keeps going up and not even in hs yet lol.

I just put 20 a week aside until I save enough for the phone I'm looking for.

I used to but then golf came back lol.

Nuts from going from the note 2 to the turbo? Yesterday went through 2 batteries in 9 hrs of use.

You are not nuts. The turbo is a great phone. As far as getting the 10 gig plan, i found that is plenty for me since i have wifi at home now. I share the 10 w one of my daughters and my tablet, but the tablet is usually at home on WiFi.

You did just fine lol

Well that was short lived. Guy on swappa had PayPal issues after transaction and it got cancelled. Have to wait for turbo a bit longer.
So annoyed.

Tony bag o donuts, holy crap, I remember you from a looong time ago on here. Did you have a Droid Eris a million years ago too?

Gotta love Taylor Made.

But back to the topic...if you aren't taking advantage of the unlimited, and you found a tier that meets your needs and you save money, well, that's a win/win.

I paid outright for mine to keep unlimited. Verizon made it difficult so I feel its my duty to use as much data as possible. I even sometimes start a Netflix or amazon prime movie before I go to bed. I use at least 7 to 10 GB a month. And that's a slow month. I've used up to 21 GB in a month before

Ah turbo will be here Wednesday, slight scratch on upper corner of screen but the price and accessories couldn't pass it up.

You couldn't pay me to give up unlimited data. I guess if you don't mind having a higher cell phone bill and the new phone is worth it to you, to each their own.

My bill is a lot lower... So I understand you wanting to keep unlimited data but don't understand how I have a higher bill?

Oh wow. One of those things that just completely goes over your head. I read your OP as you spending $50 more per month. I thought getting a new phone was going to cost you more per month. So I was thinking, well hey, if the guy wants a new phone that bad, more power to him.

My mistake, ha. Enjoy your Turbo!

Lol. It happens. I thought I screwed myself after reading the post lol.

Definitely not nuts. The Turbo is a splendid device. I regularly get 4 hours of screen on time (evenly split between web+texting/games/video, very little actual phone use) and a full 16+ hour day without draining the battery. Having a phone I can actually use for extended periods is great.
