I'm outa here! Been fun and see you around.

Well, I guess they could use the activity. Just change your signature to "VP Product Development - LG Electronics"

Pre central had a very rabid base. I hope hp does well.

Kind of funny that you say that, I just went over to the Sprint Note 2 forum and 90% of the posts are threads on problems that people are having.

That's the typical nature of forums, 98% of users will never post in a forum, and the remaining 2% are split between those people having issues and those of us who like to help people out.

Funny, sounds like something I've said in the past...
The people with complaints will always be the most vocal, myself included. But I think people like it overall

I guess, I'm just different. When I get a new phone I move on to the new forum that the covers that phone and don't feel the need to go back to the forum of my old phone to try to convince people that I'm smart and moved to the best phone in the world.

Well I made the switch last night to the note 2 on AT&T. I won't belabor the point but I'm happy I made the switch and so far love the new phone. For anybody else who's had issues with the evo and has been eyeing the note I would recommend switching. I have no interest in bashing the evo or trolling and the evo community here has been pretty cool (I'm looking at you epic update thread) so I'll try to keep an eye out for what's going on here. Thanks!

I'm not the one who said I was smarter than anyone else, your words not mine. And there's a difference between getting a new phone and trading your phone in early because of repeated issus and bad experiences and letting other people know what you did. I'm not getting sucked into a petty argument though, if these "I gave up my evo and I'm so happy I did" threads offend you so much then just skip over them, clearly this isn't the first and won't be the last

Um, no, it is not just around the corner. It will be released about the same time as the next iPhone, probably September 2013.

True, although to weigh in on this it's generally acknowledged not to buy a new phone halfway through it's release cycle if you care about having the latest and greatest stuff.

100% agree with you on that, I got the evo on launch day wanting the latest and greatest on day 1 and was displeased enough at this point that I went with the note 2 mid life cycle fully aware of that fact.

Same here, although im guessing that for Sprint won't actually be available until end of 2013. Also us nice to have the early adopters work out some of the kinks before i took he plunge

Good luck...the note 2 is just about to that stage when it's not the "in" thing.
New phones from HTC and Samsung coming out this month. The note has for me and many others just not been something to consider. The size alone makes me not think twice..I know everyone has a opinion and I'm not saying that what's good for me it's good for everyone..I believe the standard for top devices will be a 475 to 5 inch screen. The note is a wonderful gadget. For me a true HTC advocate , Samsung will not be a option or the note size..

Why not wait for the S4? You're gonna be jealous of all your friends with shiny, new S4s come April...

While it sucks that you were having troubles with your EVO, most of those sound like isolated issues. The camera performance between the Note and EVO is very close, and the EVO still has the better screen. The Note II's great, but it's about to become yesterday's news...

Not really because the note 2 and evo is in different categories.

If note 2 is yesterday's news then what is the Evo?

Note 2, it's true, ,size is everything!

A better phone! I couldn't imagine holding a tablet to my ear! To each their own!

Remember what the doormouse said, feed your head!

Its not even close to holding a tablet to your ear. Ignorance is bliss I guess.

The day before yesterday's news :)

But we're not talking about the EVO. My point is that if a newer, better phone that's gonna be a big deal is a week from being announced and possibly very close to launch, it'd just be best to hold off. The Note II is a different class of device, but I'd take the GS IV with (most likely) better screen, camera, thinner, lighter, much more powerful, newer software (and quicker updates), focus of the modding community etc...
