I'm using Jelly Bean

My Turbo got smashed so I activated the RAZR M I had as a back up phone I got on eBay couple years ago. It still has Jelly Bean and its like a breath of fresh air. I never thought I'd be so happy just to use simple volume controls. The calculator has history and the phone icon brings up the... dial pad! No floating buttons and everything runs smooth in that blueish night time color. Oh and battery statistics are easy to read and in real-time, not what's predicted. Keyboard, menu,.. list can go on. But nothing compares to the battery beast the Turbo is, and 21megapixel camera. This phone has 5 and pictures look like 3 haha. I should get my Turbo replaced but I'm seriously thinking about sticking with the simple Jelly Bean OS on this little Razr M for the next 9 months before my upgrade. What do you think?

My original DROID RAZR slowed down considerably after about a year. To me, getting the Turbo was a huge breath of fresh air with the stability improvements and massive battery with quick charging...in fact, it improved every aspect of the RAZR by a mile!
I would say go for a newer phone and if you're still interested in Jellybean, there may be a way to side load the update.

Couldn't agree with you more. The Turbo is everything a phone should be and more. I should be getting a replacement in the mail sometime soon. But in the meantime I'm having fun with this little phone. It just "updated" to Kit Kat. It said "Tap to download the latest version of Android" haha. But strangely it almost feels like an upgrade from the current version.
