I am having very similar problems to this thread:
http://forum.androidcentral.com/motorola-droid/1553-fundamental-imap-email-issues.html
Doesn't seem like anyone ever replied to that topic so I'll ask here, because it's happening on my new Droid 2 Global.
Emails from my IMAP server are delivered, can be read, and I can send via my SMTP settings.
But none of the changes are sent back to the IMAP server.
- None of the emails are "Marked as Read"
- None of the emails I delete on my D2G are deleted from the server
This "one way" sync is really problematic at best. I think the previous poster was right in that I need to be able to identify the Trash folder, etc. (Though that doesn't explain why emails aren't being marked as read either.)
Anyone have the Moto-default email app working fully with an IMAP server?
Thanks,
AJ
