imap emails disappearing from s6 edge + when opening same on outlook laptop

Recently my emails on my s6 edge + have been disappearing whenever i open outlook for same account on my laptop? the account is setup on the phone with imap incoming and outgoing addresses to the server. what has changed in the last few and how do i fix.? obviously annoying.

Nothing has changed. If you are deleting or moving the email when you are on your laptop then it will be exactly where you left it when you left your laptop, and vice versa.
