About four months back I bought a Samsung galaxy A5 2017 with a 16 month official warranty , it had some manufacturing defects which had me claim the warranty and I got the phone back after a week or so. This happened twice actually and this was three two months back. Now I've started having a different problem where my phones wifi randomly disconnects and it doesn't reconnect till I restart my phone. A friend of mine suggested that I should input the imei number into the site to see if my phone was refurbished or what. I put in the number into the site imei.info but it showed me a different phone brand, it showed me the two year old version of the phone ( the Samsung A5 2015 ). Now i still have my phone warranty, about 8 months left and on the sticker, the card and dialling the code gives me the exact same imei number. What do you suggest I should do :'l

Okay thank you !, but except for the wifi issue, should i address the brand difference on imei.info aswell? Because they might just go like, " you should've checked that when you bought the phone " Like what does it mean for my phone brand to be different on imei.info ?

I would suggest contacting whoever did the warranty work...I would guess Samsung. If you have all your paperwork (or emails and such) get those ready before you call. At least make them aware of the situation.
