Immersive experience ruined by green hue "burn in" in status bar area of screen (Nova?)

Set an all black wallpaper only to notice a green hue along the status bar area. I thought maybe it was due to hiding the status bar in Nova, but it is still kind of there on the stock launcher (though not as noticeable). It isn't as bright as this photo shows, but what on earth is going on here?

This is not burn in. Burn in does not show up on black screens, be it oled or lcd. You have an app that is putting a glow effect at the top of the screen for what ever reason.

Thanks for the reply. Right, I know it is not true burn in but I'm unsure what it could be as even when Nova is disabled it still shows up.
