Imorting music from iTunes - not all of the songs are imported!

Please can someone help, I'm so frustrated! I'm trying to transfer 4GB of music from iTunes on my Mac Pro (10.6.8) to my Nexus 7 (2012) using Android File Transfer. Everything seems to work fine but for the fact that, although all the music appears to be copied, only a fraction of the songs actually show up on the Nexus. What gives? I neeeeed this music tomorrow for a trip. Will be very pleased if anyone can help me.

Are you sure the songs you're trying to move aren't DRM protected? Are those valid files? I can't remember which format it was but I do remember that some iTunes songs a long time ago had a different, non-compatible format. Your tablet can only read MP3/MP4 and maaaaybe AAC (can't remember if it does or not).

Also, have you tried manually copying the files to your tablet (as if you were copying files from one folder to another).
