impact resistance case

I just got one of these hard shell cases that is supposidly impact proof and just dropped my x on my kitchen floor which is tile..rather hard surface..but it was in the case..
should I be ok?

If the screen looks ok, nothing is loose and it starts up/operates normally I think you're in good shape.

If it runs, and nothing rattles inside you should be good to go. What case do you have? If I decide to get the X I want one of the OtterBox cases, but they keep pushing back the delivery from late mid-late October to Late November.
