Importing Pictures

I am having a issue importing my pictures from my Thunderbolt. Everytime i connect it to the computer, it imports ALL pictures everyone on the phone and it also imports "thumbnails" (smaller version of the pictures) which didn't happen with my DX. When I reconnect it, it downloads all the pictures again, the same ones it just downloaded thus making duplicates of the pictures (filename(2) is what it adds.

Basically I am trying to find a way to just import off the SD card and only one tile just like I did with my DX. Anyone have any suggestions, comments?

Are you using some kind of software to import the pictures? If so, what is it?

I always just mount the SD as a drive and drag-and-drop what I need, so I'm not sure if I follow what's going on here.

...Of course, I never have to worry about it anymore after installing "DropSnap"

Just open the folder your pictures are on from your pc and hit control-a to select all and drag them over to your pc.

Drag and Drop has always worked real well for me too.
