Impossible to add fingerprint HELP

Hi everybody,

My Samsung S6 "Add fingerprint" function freeze and I can't add any fingerprint... the white screen with instruction remains "Place finger on Home key, lift it off, etc" but nothing happens when I put my finger on & off.

The already installed fingerprint that I set at the beginning works fine, so I presume is an Android bug... anyone else experienced this?

Wipe system cache via recovery and try again. I'd assume you have tired to do a simple reboot?

Thanks dumpedduce, yes I tried the reboot and also the wipe system cache, and notyhing change... there is the possibility to install single system apps, like Fingerprint alone?

You can try to see if it will do anything for you.

Thank you so much, how can I install an .apk file and where did you find it?

I am completely new to Android...

Download the apk. Click on it through the file Explorer and it should automatically pop up asking if you want to install. I got the apk from my phone by using an apk extractor.
