Impossible to root Motorola fire XT?

its been a month now, i have tried everything. every root method name i came across i went through it and still cannot root my motorola fire XT. Please anyone could look into the matter?

Try UnlockRoot - worked on my Acer MT 120 when nothing else did

here is a list of phones that Unlockroot works on. His phone is not on the list.

My phone is not on the list either. I have a Motorola Fire. I have tried gingerbreak/z4 and a few others and nothing works for me. They start to install and just time out or give me some kind of error.
