GNex always reports "Searching for Service" on lockscreen when I enable Airplane Mode. My battery seems to drain fast so I'm wondering if this means the radio is actually ramping up power trying to lock on to a signal, or is this just semantics?
I'm going to try letting phone time-out as some have suggested that Keep Awake function might be robbing my battery. Still curious though what others think of this. It's my second GNex, both behave the same so guessing everyone else out there sees this message in AM.
