In call sound quality

I'm wondering how the in call sound quality is on the G2.It's very good on the S4 which has a little known feature that translates to 'HD sound' when you're talking to someone on a phone with a similar feature. Since most reviews have not had a working cellular version (Wi-Fi only), it's been hard to get a handle on this.

made a few calls with mine and it sounded as good as my iphone 5

Mine is good. It was a major concern for me because I had the OG and OG Pro and they sounded terrible. I have left myself messages (as I normally do to test call quality) and they were good. They were maybe a little quiet, but clear. The Other LGs sounded robotic, had an echo and words were clipped. on my end the G2 sounds good and loud. Also very clear. I am happy with it so far.

How is notifications overall...loud? Also I love the X speakerphone volume, how is the G2?
