In DIRE need of some information. Possible bricked phone?

Well I thought I would try and be smart and try to flash the Optimus T recovery onto my Optimus U. Well I did everything I was supposed to, followed every little direction, and now I'm stuck at the LG logo screen. I've taken battery out numerous times and nothing. I can't even boot into recovery mode. Absolutely nothing works. Please let me know if I ruined my phone for good. Very important I fix this or have to bite the bullet and get a new phone.

Sidenote, I did root my phone if that's important to know. Also, my computer won't register the phone when I plug it in.

I had the same problem yesterday. It took me a few hours to figure out but the 2 following posts I am attaching will get you back up and running. Your best off reading all of each thread first and then going from there. Good luck.
