In the S6 phone app, how to view Favourites as a list rather than grid.

The grid is a waste of space and an even bigger waste time when you have 50 to 100 favourites out of a phone list of several thousand. Alphabetic list format is easier and quicker, but I cannot find a way to change this. Thanks for your help.
