Inaccurate battery info

I just noticed that the info on my battery time was incorrect. It says that my phone has been on battery for over 21 hours but I'm pretty sure that I plugged the phone to the wall charger and the computer a couple times during those 21 hours. I'll continue to monitor it but curious to know if anyone else has this issue too.

I just had an inaccurate reading on mine. This was after I put on Nova launcher. So I just "recalibrated" the battery (drain the battery until it dies, then charge it back up fully). Kind of like how you're supposed to recalibrate with laptops.

Had it been 21 hours since you unplugged it at full charge? I'm pretty sure the timer only resets once you hit full charge-at least, that's how it worked on my Droid Charge. I haven't had to plug my S3 in during the day yet...really enjoying the battery life:)

That's correct

I have also never had to plug mine in during the day minus the first day. It lasts all day, i charge at night so my battery always seems to have the correct reading! Like someone else said i think it only resets once it has a full charge.

Hmmm... what you said makes sense. But so far today, I've randomly plugged the phone in and the timer did reset and show the true "on battery" time, even though it wasn't fully charged before i unplugged it. So I'm not sure what the deal is.

i have noticed that when i plug into in to the wall to charge it will not reset the time unless it reaches a 100% charge, then it will reset like stated above...

however, when i plugged it into my computer to transfer some music yesterday it was only connected about 10 minutes...i took it off the usb connector and checked my battery and for some reason it reset the clock and it was not at 100% when i took it off the connector
