I had the Incredible for 20days from release, and I wasn't "Incredibly" impressed, and sent it back. If you like to use a car, or home dock u'll hate it, or maybe i was just spoiled with my Moto Droid. I do travel more than most though.....2-3 weeks a month....

Whats tomorrow?

Im getting more an more excited to test out this device. I currently have an Inc. but recieving a "new" one in early July and if the X is to my likings, Ill sell my Inc on Ebay/craigslist and put it towards the X :)

I'm excited for the press release. Hopefully will learn more about the x and the droid 2. Maybe it will help me choose between the 2.

Starts at eastern one pm in new york city. Still trying to figure out if it will be on ustream

If you already have a Droid or Incredible, the new Droid doesn't appear to be head over heals over them. In fact, I think it's too big and the battery is going to be a 1500 mah only. You throw an extended battery on that new droid and you now have an aircraft carrier.

If you have an upgrade to use, why not get it, it's all good.

well with a more efficent processor. it should match or excede the battery life of the droid and droid inc. think im going to use the upgrade on my second line for this

so what makes the 1g oamp (or what evre it was) better then the snapdragon. also how much faster is it alot or just a lil?

its a more well rounded processor better graphics core. and the cpu portion is just as capapble so you wont have to deal with slugish games or anything. plus everyday use should be snappy

They claim that the battery life should be comparable to the droid with the stock battery and they'll also be releasing a 1930mAH battery that is only 1mm thicker.

I'm feeling in the same boat. My DInc should be here this Friday. I'll probably play with it, use it, get comfortable, then by the time the X hits the stores I'll have had enough time to decide if I'm keeping the DInc or replacing it with the X...

The bigger size is what puts me off, I already have a hard time getting my Storm out of my pocket. DInc is about the same width, but the X seems a lot wider than both.

What was the battery life like on the Droid?

I?m currently in a bind similar to the OP, except my concern is networks. I have the EVO and I love it, but Sprints coverage is not the best around here. I know Verizon is everywhere here but does the Droid X, or even Incredible match up to the EVO?
