incall volume

In order to raise or lower my in call volume i have to remove the phone from my ear and then press the side keys. Anyway around this?

Do you want someone to describe how to adjust the volume with their thumb or forefinger? I do it without removing it from my ear... practice!!!

Really? The in call volume does not increase or decrease when i correctly press the buttons. Only when i remove it from my ear and the screen iluminates, does it work properly.
