Alright well I upgraded from my Droid 1 last week and was in the market for a new case. I was considering grabbing one of the Otterbox cases, but the fact that there were so many complaints about fit issues and the way the flaps were designed I decided to look elsewhere. I came across the Incipio SILICRYLIC case and purchased it in black/black.
I was hoping to find something somewhat thin, but that offered quite a bit of protection. I like the hybrid designs with the rubber and plastic. I didn't want a hard case, because I find dirt gets between the hard case and the phone and ends up scratching it worse than without a case. And I hate the feel of the silicone cases and find them cheap feeling. But with the Incipio, the rubber goes between the phone and the plastic so it's protected from that. And the hard plastic on the outside is a great soft touch material that feels great.
The case fits perfectly, it's very high quality. The rubber part fits it like a glove and the plastic fits perfectly over the rubber. It doesn't even seem like it's 2 pieces once it's all together. And the protection is amazing. I would feel extremely confident that I could drop the phone from quite a distance and wouldn't have any phone damage (as long as it didn't land on the screen).
I would HIGHLY recommend getting this case. It's very thin, slips in and out of your pocket very easily, and it looks amazing. Definitely the best case I've used on any of my phones. It's a little expensive, but well worth it if you're looking for an amazing case.
