Increase in Battery Life

Do I have to use the Android 7.0 command it says "non-root" (my phone isn't rooted) or do I have to use "device with Doze disabled"? I'm not sure if the second one works for me since my phone isn't rooted(it does not mention root).

And my second question does the AoD function still work?

Thanks

I have recently been using Greenfiy with Agressive Doze Mode which puts the phone in doze in a few minutes rather than an hour. Also enabled Doze on-the-go Mode which disables the motion/accelerometer which takes the phone out of the doze state. In order to enable that feature you have to use ADB and your phone does not have to be rooted.

Couldn't get this to work, been using greenify for yrs but never tried this, and when I followed the directions my pc isn't doing anything. Feels like a step is missing.

What do you mean your PC isn't doing anything? Have you installed ADB and entered the commands? If you did when you open greenify, you can find that you can now activate doze on the go.

I clicked the driver from the link you posted but It doesn't do anything, is there another place to get adb?

The driver isn't ADB. That's different. ADB's official source is from the Android Dev's site and its part of the 25GB download for Android studio.

You can enter the second and last command and it should work. I do it have a rooted phone and it is not necessary to do so for this. Also AOD works perfectly.

Well.i want it to help in conserving battery life. Does it just work or do I have to fine tune it?I see the aggressive size feature how does it work?

Just turn it on. It will go into Doze faster than normal, hence increasing standby time. You'd also want to enable Doze on the Go.
