OK, I have purchased the professional version of PdaNet and can't get my MacBook Pro to have internet access inspite of hours of trying both BlueTooth and PdaNet. Messages are that I am not tethered. I believe that Verizon has found a way to prevent me from using this application to avoid paying more money into their bloated coffers. Is there a way to get around Verizon with respect to using Incredible 2 as a method to use computer on internet?
:)

Before using Free Wireless Tether I was tethering my phone with my MacBook using PDANet. It took some trial and error to get things going.. but it eventually worked. I wasnt able to get Bluetooth paired but i was successful pairing with a USB Cable. Welcome to AC... Enjoy the forums..

I have paid for version 3. Should I give it up and just go for the free version of tethering? I have consumed hours trying to get PdaNet working. So far nothing!

Heh CyberWarrior. Thanks. Got it up and running by tethering and then re Installing Pdanet to phone. Then connection happened easily. Now my question is how come I am needing to pay Verizon for Skype calls?:-\

Its only free if your calling with Skype to someone else with Skype. Skype to a mobile number or landline and you will be charged.
Here's the breakdown chart of how Skype/Verizon bill you.. scroll down the page and you will see a chart: Calling Features: Skype mobile™
