Incredible 2

With the release of even more Android devices imminent.(Fascinate next month?,Droid2 yesterday). I'd like to discuss what the Incredible 2 might be spec wise, if in fact one is made. I'm always hearing about the next "it" devices, and it seems like the Galaxy S phones will be next. I plan to stick with my Dinc until a 2nd version comes out. I really do like this phone and while other phones have already come out that are better, I still love this phone. I think mainly because I really went thru an awful lot to get it. And even though its not the top phone anymore, it really doesnt matter. I love it, its the best phone I've ever had and it isnt my first smartphone.

So, what would you like to see on the next version of the Dinc?

Better/faster support for new versions of Android OS.

A limited edition Three Wolf Moon silk screen on the back - a la R2D2 - so that there is never a need for a case, extended battery or screen protector.

It would also accept LTE with unlimited data free with Gingerbread preloaded.

Updates would come out 2 day's before Google releases them.

The front facing camera would only appear when needed and the Regular Camera would have clarity up to 50 MegaPixels.

The CPU would be immaterial because it will automatically over clock to 150% of recommended processing power based upon the OS.



How's that for a flagship feature phone!

I wouldnt mind a more prominent LED indicator, I barely notice this one.

I'd be surprised if HTC even made a new phone with the Incredible branding.

I am sure HTC will have a new name for whatever high-end phone they launch on Verizon next. After all, they didnt make the Inc the "Eris 2" or anything.

I wouldn't worry too much about the DInc 2 or the OG DInc going obsolete anytime soon. Smartphones are quickly becoming just like laptops. Sure as soon as you get it something bigger and better will be released, but your current device should keep us just fine. And as the OS and software becomes more efficient, you device will use less memory. Anyone with a DInc should be just fine for 1-2 years. The only reason to upgrade is cause your a phone freak like me and just want to!
