So my refurbs when I got it was slow. Thought it was me etc. Then sometimes it wouldn't respond to screen touches or it would freeze for a few seconds. Last night my device took two reboot and a battery pull to get the auto scrolling issues to stop.

Now my current one did not come with verizons quality checklist etc or even their refurbs stickers :)

Rep said the warehouse needs to slow down because they are losing qc to fulfill orders.
 
Man, that's got to be disappointing. Hope the next one is the RIGHT one for you. Good luck!
 
That's not good if they hurry to get these out at the cost of quality :( hope the third one works better for you.
 
heheh i was on my third Incredible starting middle of July! But i made sure they sent me new in box phones instead of refurb's.

Demand a NEW phone, not a refurb!

Yup... thats what I would do. Though, i had a defective phone on a NIB Incredible. Here is roughly my timeline....

1.) Purchase Incredible at launch
2.) Middle of May - trackpad goes haywire and shuffles screen 99% of the time
3.) Within 30 day WFG, backordered NIB Incredible finally lands at my house around June 5th.
4.) Replacement Incredible had pink screen, sent back and kept original Incredible.
5.) Called in, sent my 2nd Incredible back and was told I would be sent another NIB (backordered heavily) and extended 30 day WFG to be 30 days from when I recieve my 3rd replacement.
6.) End of July, 3rd Incredible is on my doorstep... and works perfect.
 
I actually prefer refurbs over new..call me crazy...they last me longer...except this time....lol...well my phone is overnighted not two day but 1 day...
 
How do you go about getting a brand new phone? I'm having issues with my 4th (yes I said 4th) incredible. They have sent me 3 refurbs and if its not one thing its another. I'm going to call customer service tomorrow. What exactly should I say to make sure they send me a brand new one?
 
Tell them to send you a brand new one , LoL :p . I think they just send refurbs once your phone is over the 30 day trial period as a general rule , but since you returned so many they use to send a brand new one if the refurbs were not working out.I don't know if they still do or not.They should be able to look at your account and see as well that you already got 3 refurbs so maybe they will send you a new one I'd still ask though.
 
In your situation I would , be polite but remind them that you have tried the refurds as they can see and you are the customer.I know that can be tough at times and easier said then done but I would try that before getting into a shouting match with them. :) Hopefully you get a friendly rep or supervisor if it comes down to talking to a supervisor .
 
They typically won't send out new unless it's extreme circumstances....if you are polite they may give you one....My FB friends are hammering me saying I should go back to the Zack Morris phone....FYI refurbs are not phones sent back from the customer....they are demo units or units on the production line that had issues...it could be something cosmetic and they pull it.

That wasn't verizon though. Or maybe they started implementing the change when they threw out the Multi-FRU policy?

Guess it's good I am getting a replacement. I have to hit reply twice since I got this replacement to reply to an email....
