Incredible 3 or Rezound 2?

I say incredible line, specs look less than rezound, 1.2 ghz and vgh front facing, i thought rezound 1.5 ghz and 2 mp front.

Nah JK, the specs on that are way too low to be a sequel to the Rezound.

Just took another look at the phone dog site, looks like its been confirmed that it's definitely the Incredible HD.

But it's qHD, it's only HD in the most forgiving sense of the term.

Being a 4 " screen even with the s4 processor I can't go backwards on screen size. I have had 4.3 or bigger for more than a year. Htc's big screens will be out by July or August.

Wow. Glad I didn't wait for a 4G Inc. I loved the heck outta my original Inc and was initially drawn to the Rezound because it was so similar to the Inc design-wise but these specs are pretty disappointing. Just makes me even happier I bought the phone I did

(And I've got no doubt the Rezound will get a very nice Sense 4.0 via the very clever dev's who are currently working on it as we speak, or type, or whatever...)

You try the Sense4 ROM yet... pretty sweet. I'm not a huge fan of Sense, but am down with this. Still some bugs, and the lag when you first flash is out of control, but after a while it gets awesome.

Camera I thought was the problem, or they need to keep the older phones older than the new ones. I'm not sure it's BS, HTC is trying to make a comeback, and those One phones running sense 4 are gonna kill. Maybe we get Sense 4 official, maybe we don't, deal with it. New phones always get, well, newer stuff. Is it "fair" to buy a $300 new phone only to have a 6 month old $50 phone be essentially the same?

It's good to be jealous, it makes them (htc) make new rad stuff. HOORAY NEW STUFF.

If it has the S4 in it which I believe it does, it will run circles around our Rezounds!

Odd that they downgraded the FFC. The Inc 2 had a 1.3mp FFC.

The reasoning is half hardware integration and half marketing. They would have to rewrite all the rezound drivers from scratch and rewrite most of sense 4 to make it work properly. Things like the integrated camera chip that we don't have are hard to work around and quite frankly they don't care enough about us. The other half is of course for a selling point for the new devises.

Sucks but it's the way it is. Plus the s4 is a whole nuther animal which will easily have us clock for clock. Not saying the rezound could not handle it by any means, but extra power is always better. I would actually prefer the s4 over the tegra 3 for phone applications.

Plus HTC thinks for some reason that it would be too jarring for users to go from 3.5 to 4.0.

Why make a sequel to a phone that most people don't know or care about?

I would be very surprised if Verizon made a "sequel" to the Rezound - at least in name. The Rezound didnt seem to even make a splash in the Verizon world (thanks to their own marketing, not the phone itself).

I have a friend who works for a cell phone company that develops software/hardware for HTC and Pantech. He had a Dinc 3 the other day and I had a chance to play with it. The pics in the first post are dead on. 4 inch screen, which I think is perfect. It's a tad bigger than my iPhone.

After playing with it for a while, sense 4.0 is sweet and overall the phone is crazy fast. One thing that hasn't been mentioned is the camera. They upgraded the sensors and it is actually just as good if not better than my iPhone 4s from the test shots I took. It took really nice pics in low light settings.

I'm gonna pick one up because for me the size is perfect!
