Incredible Car Dock

Anyone who's purchased the actual Incredible Car Dock

can you give me your thoughts impressions etc

maybe even photos of how it works

or links to reviews etc?

I saw it this weekend at the Verizon store and was debating about purchasing it

It basically looks like a cheap holster with a suction mount for 30.00.
Won't work with a case and I would prefer a more viable solution, one that charges the device as well.

I just ordered the igrip and it should be here in a couple of days I will take some pictures and give a brief review. I just hope its not to cheap

since I find no use for putting a ugly bulky case on my phone - that's not a problem

I got the "Belkin TuneDok Cupholder for iPod (White)" a while back for my iTouch... The Incredible with the case from the combo case/holster accessory from Verizon fits in it perfectly. I only needed to cut away a small notch in the lower left corner to allow for the USB cable to plug in and it fits in any cupholder. It's only $3.44 from Amazon right now, plus it's going to work fine with an extended battery. I won't be buying a car dock after all...

The problem with mounts like that for me is that the phone is down. I want the phone up where I can easily see it without looking down.

I have been trying to figure out some way of mounting it on the pull grip on the drivers side. I really only use the bottom of the grip at all and it would place the unit up high where I can see it. It most likely will need to be a custom mount though.

Agreed. That is one of the crappiest docks I have ever held.
I was extremely pissed at what they gave us.
