Incredible music player problems, crash and can't read off sd or internal

Ok still love my incredible but this is bad. The built in music player can not read off the sd card (am I doing something wrong?) and download music players like MixZing cannot read off the internal memory and both players crash on occasion. HElp?! couldnt' find this in any older threads, so apologies if this has been addressed

The music player sux. Just download Meridian media player. It plays music and videos, and lets you specify media location folders. Also, it's free.

i use mine as a mp3 player and it does that from time to time. what i do is shut of the phone completely and when i put it back on i let it sit for a while till its done reading all files then i go and check to see if it got ever thing. it usually works fine after that.

The built-in Music Player plays my music that is on my SD card. I find the built-in player too slow for my tastes, I use bPlayer.
