Incredible S firmware update in Canada?

Hey all! So I finally left the blackberry world and got myself an Incredible S
Let me tell you, wow what a difference lol - coming from a bb Torch

In any case, I was wondering if anyone got an updated firmware? The current version I'm running is 2.2.1
I thought v 2.3 was available for the incredible s. Could it be that i'm in Canada? My phone is unlocked from Bell and i'm on the Rogers network.

Yes it is because you are still running the Bell version. I took my unlocked Bell and flashed the WWE version 1.36.405.1 which is the HTC unbranded 2.2.1 and then it showed me that an upgrade to 2.3.3 was available. I am now running the HTC unbranded 2.3.3 (2.30.405.1) on my unlocked Bell.

Oh awesome, im such a noob to android... for now!! lol Can you help me out a little more with links to where I can get the unbranded firmware and maybe some guides on how to flash my device?
