anyone else having or noticing the problem of the weather on the home screen not updating?

Do you have the auto updates enabled (press on the weather and hit menu>settings)? I also noticed mine wasn't updated, but discovered I had syncing disabled.

^ That, and did you change the update interval to something less? Maybe 1 hour or 3 hours?

Scroll down on your screen you have more than one location set by default. One if my GPS location the other is NY.

Hit menu --> Delete and select which cities you don't want. Then add the city you want if the GPS isn't updating it correctly.

It is problematic for many users (and why many just dump it for Beautiful Widgets or Weather&Toggle).

HTC/VZW know about the issue, but do not seem to be in a hurry to do anything LOL.

Some have no issue (not sure if it's certain locations accuweather is having problems with or what).

Mine would just get "stuck" during my travels, so I switched to BW and WB Elite and have never thought about it again. (well, I think about it a few times a day when folks post about the failings of it!)

Mine seems to swap pretty fluidly. Never seen it get stuck or anything of that nature. And I travel around a lot.

The weather widgets are someone limited to what data is available and they only show real basic stuff.

Around here, the closest METAR station actually stops transmitting data at night. So, even if the widget is working, the data is not and it would not be the fault of the software.

To ensure better updates for this area you have to go to a much further away site to get updates all night long but then you are almost 15 miles away. Around here that could mean the difference between a 2" monsoon down pour or nothing but hot humid air from one block to the next.

Normally, I just check the station in my back yard... up to the minute 7 x 24 and much more relevant to me than a station 7-10 miles away. Just pick up my mobile web page and I get 10 times more info than the widget provides.

Had our warmest day for the year so far yesterday with 101?F. First 100 of the season and the last for about another week or so.

try this...

So I tried enabling location AND I also allowed my wireless connection to synchornize my location. It looks like that might have done it.

Seems to be an issue I have maybe 3% of the time...just enough to be noticed and not enough for me to pay money to fix

Mine will lag sometimes when driving home, but I always assumed that if I have it update per hour, that it wouldn't notice the change in the location until it performs an update? Now I'm not so sure. The lag in changing the city doesn't bother me much. What bothers me is when its dark out and it says its 73 and sunny! lol

Yeah, mine does that, too. And all the settings are correct. Must just be a bug in the app.
