Ok, i have read some info about an HTC employee posting in htc forums it supports N, and then people debunking it.

Well i cant say about it working in 2.1 ( i hear we need to wait for 2.2 for N support) but i can say 100% our chipset supports it for those wondering. Mainly i just wanted to know if we COULD use N, if the tech is there or not and it is.

the incredible root method uses firmware for our broadcomm wireless chipset to get wifi tether working. the BCM4329 as you can see below, if you click the link you will see it DOES support wireless N, there is also some other interesting info about the chipset used in the incredible.

Broadcom.com - BCM4329 - Low-Power 802.11n with Bluetooth? 2.1 + EDR and FM (Tx and Rx)

I was surprised to find out that not only does this chip do the 2.1 bluetooth and 802.11n, it also is what supports the FM radio, interesting. sorry if all this info has been posted before, i am new to the site and have not seen it in my reading.

so atleast we know wireless N is there and possible!
