Indian phone manufactures.... any good? i.e Micromax, Karbonn

Hi,

I have had several Android based phones, Galaxy S2, S3, S4, Note 2, Nexus 4, HTC One to mention a few, but I tend to get bored very easily and change handsets. Right now I have the S4 and I'm reasonably happy with it, however I have started to notice Indian based companies such as Micromax, Karbonn, Gionee, XOLO etc becoming more and more popular. Does anyone own any phones from these manufacturers? if so would you say they were any better than the S4 or the HTC One or at least par?
