Infinity Effects Wallpapers

What exactly do the infinity effects in wallpapers do and should I care if the wallpaper I want to use disables them?

It's just the wallpaper where the stars or dots move as the phone moves. The annoying thing is that if you replace one wallpaper, it replaces all of them (i.e. replace your lock screen and it disables the home wallpaper too).

Still, I like the infinity wallpaper...I'd be interested to see third party versions at some point, maybe.
