Android Central Question

Greetings T-Mobile.
We respectfully want you to inform us, what possibility there is to know if a terminal that is in our possession, has some type of debt, lack of payments or any other irregularity and that you can, through the respective IMEI of a ZTE ZMax2 Z958 team , tell us, if it can be unlocked and enabled for another operator without major consequences.
Where can we send an email?
Where can we receive this information via email?
Do you think you can give us this information? We appreciate your answers and thank you very much.

You do realize you didn't write to T-Mobile but on the forums of an enthusiast website, right?

The IMEI is the unique identifier for the device, that would be how the carrier would determine unlock status.

Here is T-Mobile's unlock policy - https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-1588

Welcome to Android Central! You can easily call T-Mobile's support to ask your questions. However, it sounds like you somehow came into possession of a phone that belonged to someone else, who didn't end up paying completely for the phone. It most likely has been blacklisted, and therefore is useless. It is highly unlikely that T-Mobile would do anything to help you. They might even consider the device stolen property, so be careful with how you proceed.

OK, if so, and the phone may have some type of debt, I tell you, this phone was brought from Amazon, I only work with two operators here after it was taken to a technical telephone center, where they allegedly requested the unlocking with Server, After a few months, the terminal went in "Mode Locked" and could no longer be used with the remaining operators here in my area.
The question is, if Amazon can send phones of doubtful origin, for us it is a loss that we have to return it, since we would pay double the original cost, therefore for security, for us it is safer, or we can try to pay the debt or unlocking by server if the cost is not very large, otherwise we would sell it as a replacement and accept its loss. What we want is to know how to find out if there is a debt in this terminalyes or a not. With T-Mobile or AT&T it is always very difficult to be able to find technical support personnel for these cases, since they always relate to these equipment, such as irregular terminals and seem not to care to help the innocent.

If it was purchased from Amazon, they are the ones you need to raise a dispute with.If you wanted any block to be removed, you have made the correct approach but if they aren't responding asking a hobbyist forum won't be helpful. You can check if the IMEI has been blacklisted, though, https://www.imeipro.info/

if Amazon can send phones of doubtful origin
Amazon itself doesn't, they have many merchants who use Amazon to sell products for the merchants. Contact the merchant (although if it's been a few months, they probably won't deal with you unless it's still within their warranty period) or contact Amazon. If the merchant won't take back a phone that wasn't paid for (which is almost certainly what happened - the carrier gives the user a few months before blacklisting the phone), Amazon probably will, and back-charge the merchant (which doesn't concern you).
