Infuse compatible with Hauppauge WinTV Extend video streaming?

I am trading in my HTC Inspire for a Samsung Infuse that will be delivered tomorrow. The Inspire worked very well streaming TV video from my home cable connection via a Hauppauge 1950 USB tuner connected to my PC running WinTv with Extend. Flowplayer actually plays the video from within browser on the Inspire. Playback worked great on the Inspire out-of-the-box. I have tried watching the same video stream on my daughter's Infuse and everything looks great (initialization, channel selection, buffering, transcoding) until it finally tries to DISPLAY the video. Then NOTHING.

Anyone else run into this problem or found a solution for the Infuse?

The Hauppauge/WinTV/Flowplayer method works great on Iphone/IPad/PC and Inspire and provides an excellent way to watch TV remotely via streaming over Wifi or mobile net with no cost for content (other than your TV cable bill). For me, not having this capability will be a deal breaker and I would most likely go back to the Inspire.

Thanks in Advance.

I don't know, buddy. If it were a dealbreaker for me, and it didn't work on an Infuse that I tried it on (and I made sure all the settings were correct (TV, USB tuner, PC, and phone), I probably wouldn't take the plunge in getting the phone myself... but if you can return it and get an Inspire if it doesn't work, then I guess go for it. BTW, the Infuse comes with a dongle that allows you to connect it to your TV. Not wireless, however.

Sorry I don't have an actual answer...
