Thanks man. We need some excitement going on in here. I think its gonna really come about once Gingerbread gets released. Not only that, but my Go To guy for Custom Roms already has half of the system dumb for the Rogers Version of the Infuse with Gingerbread. Hes gonna be cooking up something nice. The guy has great reputation on XDA and Im gonna start getting some people to put there big boy pants on and start tinkering with the device a little....................................of course at their own risk

Wish I was smart enough/ had enough time to tinker with this stuff lol. Hell Im scared to even root my phone. I may have to to try and increase the external speaker vol though. So sad this phone to me is way better than my Atrix but the Atrix has killer sound on it compared to the Infuse.

Your right about the sound. No way to make it louder externally. But it can be made louder through the headphones via voodoo sound control with a voodoo kernal. Rooting is easy and you wont notice a difference at all. Just an icon. But under the Hood it has everything unlocked and ready to be modified
