Funny thing is, a couple of nights ago, I was travelling with 3 others in a vehicle. I hopped out at a corner to take over a portal and not really looking around...I capped the last 3 resonators. As I was walking so the edge of my circle was just barely touching the portal, I looked up and I was standing right in front of the police parkade entrance and the gates were open. I quickly moved in the other direction... That area of town isn't really the best area to be in at noon, let alone at 11PM.

That would mean that it is not correct when they state they are all on "public" land, that would be private with restricted access.

I'm checking to make sure there's no portal on my office grounds. Unmarked government building. IRS taxpayer phone service.

Wonder if they could make private portals that only employees of certain companies or agencies can access.

I had a run in with the local law in my first year of playing. Fair enough, it was 1.30am outside a windmill in the middle of nowhere, but the funny thing is that they thought we were either poaching or dogging.

When we explained what we were doing, they had never heard of Ingress. There were 3 of us playing and all had the same image on phones so they said, we could continue playing as long as we didnt leave a mess and were quiet.
