Show off your homescreens in this thread!

In order to take a screenshot you must:
1) Root? (TBD)
2) If it is determined the Inspire must be rooted, read this great article as a workaround.
3) Programs used to capture screenshot (Root Required): ShootMe, drocap2
4) Please host pictures on a site such as Photobucket or Picasa, and then use the insert image tool above to add them to your post

If you use any cool and/or interesting theme's, homescreen replacements, or widgets, please list them in your post also.

Whomever the luck person is, to post their first screenshot, please answer 1 & 2 above for me.

Thanks!

...seems ShootMe, Drocap2, and even Screenshot It ALL want the Inspire to be rooted to create screenshots.

So sad.

I was finally able to get a screen shot of my home screen
I did not have to root anything. I installed the android sdk and also htc sync (for the usb drivers)

I had to start the sdk and then run C:\Program Files\Android\android-sdk-windows\tools\ddms.bat

...seriously, rooting has to be made easier...

Unfortunately, this is currently the easiest way to root. I did it the manual way, before that came out, and considering I'm not the brighest when it comes to stuff like that, I didn't any problems at all. As long as you follow the steps exactly as they're posted, you won't have any problems.

And here are my screens...

Since then, I've flashed a stock/rooted ROM, so the only things that are different are the signal indicator (5 bars instead of 4) and the weather was switched to F instead of C (this was the Desire HD European ROM I believe) haha. I would die with it being THAT cold!

I updated my phone today. It's now rooted and whatnot. But I grabbed all new screenshots of my layout... if you're into that kind of thing. Click picture to view in full size.

OK. Pretty mad to have to install so much stuff to get a screenshot!

Here's my lock screen, courtesy of WidgetLocker; quick slider-access to camera, camcorder, phone and my wife, and instant view of unread mail and Google Voice counts, as well as date/time, weather and battery percentage:

I use Win7 Home. I had to install the java jdk, then the android sdk and then I had to install the HTC Sync.. the Sync app had the necessary drivers for the phone. Hope you are able to get it to work.

Here are my latest set of screenshots. I am using Launcher Pro with lots of other widgets.

I an using the following widgets :
AutoAppOrganizer - Folder based application management
BobClockD3 - clock on main home screen
InstantButtons - Sound Effects
Minimalistic Text - Titles at the top of each screen
No Lock - disables the HTC lock screen
Touch Calendar

I just wanted to share my Launcher7 interface. It is a nice app. I prefer ADW Launcher but if someone was interested in getting a W7 Phone then this is a near perfect mimic (except for the metroUI app interfaces). It even has the fly in/out transitions.
