Instagram eating my data

I have Data saver activated on my S8+, and I have the cellular data saver on Instagram settings activated, and I went into app settings and disabled background data for Instagram. Yet, this is still happening.

Is anyone else experiencing this, and does anyone have a suggestion of how to stop this?

Try this. Go into the Instagram app itself, > Options > Cellular Data Use, and select "Use less data". Use it like that for several days and see if your usage is improved.
