instagram keeps restarting my phone

whenever i click on instagram it causes my phone to restart. even trying to uninstall it causes a re-start, so I can't try to re-install it. I've seen a few people say that the update fixes this but it says my app is up to date in the play store, and I'm not really sure what to do about it! it's really annoying so if anyone's had the same problem and managed to sort it without taking it into the shop any help would be much appreciated!

Go to manage apps on settings. Go to the all section. Find instagram. Click on it. Click clear all data. Clear cache. Force stop it. Try to uninstall then. After try a reinstall and see if it works now

I'm having the same problem on my S3, and it got even worse... I can uninstall the app or clear anything... every time I try to clear all data or cache mobile restarts can't be worse

My phone was doing this since the update in May, and I tried everything... deleted cache, uninstall/reinstall, cleared memory, and everything else. Tonight I found a random posting which said to delete a photo I had already uploaed, and then try again. IT WORKED!!! SO HAPPY Good luck!
