Installed Android Lollipop 5.0 in Sony Xperia Z1 Compact

Hi, yesterday i installed Android Lollipop 5.0 in my Sony Xperia Z1 Compact i found the software quite fascinating enough but to my experience i found that my phone was heating up and my battery was draining so fast??? can any help me out by providing suggestions
