So I've installed Juice Defender to see if this helps, but I am totally clueless how to use it. I admit, this is my first smartphone and I'm totally clueless to much of this. All of I've done is set it to enabled and set for a balanced profile. If I wanted to use the customize profile, I can't figure out what to push to actually customize it. Help, please.

I'll let the others tell you on how to set it up.

It has mixed results for everyone. For me I had lag when unlocked the phone, then it actually drained my battery isntead of helping it.

I would get like 8 hours normal
Then 6 hours with juice defender.

Values are based on a bad battery, that had draining issues.

i'm assuming you got the free one. After clicking on the App, just click on "enable" for JuiceDefender, then on profile, select either balanced or aggressive, then click confirm. beyond that, there's not much you need to do. you should use the current widget or battery monitor widget to see before and after current drain.

I was running juice defender but I culdn't tell if it was really helping. I uninstalled it yesterday so that I can compare battery life. So far I haven't noticed much difference.

The less you use the phone the better results you will see. If you are using phone a good bit it won't have a chance to shut off your radios and give you more battery life.

Set from my HTC ThunderBolt using Tapatalk.
