Installing 4.0 on 2.2?

Like someone else said there's the cm9 ROM that looks like ics or you could theme your current custom ROM to look like ics, I know that's not what you were looking for but I thought I'd throw that out there.
Also, you said you are 11... when I read that I was amazed and instantly thought of my kids and hoped when they're 11 they'll be able to understand this stuff. (unless you were joking about your age,) keep up the awesome work you're doing, it's wonderful you want to learn this stuff and you are in the best place to do that with this phone. I'm sure you have already seen all of the great guides here keep reading up on this stuff you'll be so glad if you stick with it.
I hope the earlier words that ended up in your thread doesn't give you off ideas about the people here, asking questions and wanting to learn is not lazy, you're doing exactly what you're supposed to do and I'm glad someone called that post out. Once in a while you might come across ppl who have had bad days but don't take it personal or scare you away from all of the ppl here who are more than happy to help everyone! -ok I'm done with my mom speech I really didn't mean to get all cheesy up in here

CM9 is a custom ics 4.0 rom but it is not yet fully functional. At this point if you need a stable rom with some attributes of ics, try thekravens CM7 and find an ICS theme for the theme chooser.
