Hey there, i was just looking for help with my device.
I have a Samsung infuse 4g on rogers, running android 2.3.3
I have recently rooted my phone in order to flash it and change things.
I have gotten to the point where i have installed rom manager, and i have used es file explorer to mount my sd and place the recovery into system/bin. When i got to reboot my phone it just uses the stock recovery and i can't do a nandroid backup, or put a ROM onto my device.
Any suggestions?

It should have an option that says reinstall package. If so, scroll to that and tap your power button. Phone will reboot, you may have to reinstall twice to get recovery.

You need to get Odin 1.87 and a modded e3 recovery.tar file it will be in zip format search it on Google follow the instructions and it will get you into cwm but I will say this: when you do this it will be the original recovery at first just reinstall packages and you're in cwm happy flashing!!

infuse: rooted, unlocked ROM: CatyromV3

I haven't been given the option to re-install packages, and i've tried this over 10 times!!!

Ok google gtg ultimate unbrick, use the files found in there, next google modded e3 recovery for infuse get the.tar file and after you get it back to stock, put the modded e3 tar file in PDA flash and reinstall packages, done.
