Installing Touchless Control on Moto G?

After a lot of searching, I found the Touchless Control apk and installed it on my Moto G. The app installed successfully and the option appeared in settings under " Device". But when I try to open it, it says "Unfortunately, Touchless Control has stopped."
Is there any way to get it to work on Moto G?

I have stock Android 4.4.2

The Moto G lacks the dedicated circuits for Touchless control that the Moto X has. So I believe without major changes to the .apk it shouldn't be able to work.
