I am set at 800Ghz. Is it worth upgrading to the 1.3 Kernel? Will it effect anything or builds?
If so, where and how can I upgrade easily?
Thanks.

Wow, 800Ghz? Really? Thats pretty amazing! I kid, I kid, but the easiest way (Are you running CM7?) is to upgrade to a newer nightly. They allow you to OC to 1.3 Ghz.

Yep running CM7 7.1.0 RC1.
What build is recommended?
Thanks for reply.

Nightly 132 and later all have the OC kernel and are all somewhat stable (the newest is 153). Be sure to also install the Nook Tweaks app, which allows setting the clock speed and voltage levels.

The nightly from 8-4 is the most stable of the current releases. I would recommend that one for now.

Doing build 150 from 8-4.
I do have nook tweak.
Now how do I upgrade or get to 1.2 Ghz or 1.3 Ghz?
Thanks.

Go to nook tweeks and select performance, then select clock speed. You will see 5 settings. I have mine set to 300,600,1000,1100,1225. I do not play with the voltage settings. Then go to cyanogenmod settings and you can select your profile to conservative, on demand, or performance.

I just change the CPU settings in the CM7 settings. The max is 1200 which is probably because many have reported some issues going higher. I haven't bothered with the additional settings Nook Tweaks and it runs fine.
